Gabe Nichols
Nature School Teacher - CPS
For the past decade, I’ve been an educator with a passion for innovative learning experiences, particularly when it connects students to nature. I strive to create engaging experiences that use meaningful shared activities to build understanding and collaboration.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family through activities like hunting, fishing, boating, and beekeeping. We also operate a small homestead outside of Columbia, MO. These experiences not only fuel my own connection with the environment, but also informs my approach to leading the classroom as an educator.
My academic background compliments my passion for environmental education. I hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, along with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Missouri. I am so excited to be a part of the Boone County Nature School’s innovative approach and focus on environmental education.
